My Story

From Arena to Allotment

NIK_0807.jpg

My horse experience began like the old adage "green plus green makes black and blue." We had much to overcome and I quickly learned that learning itself is the secret to growth with horses. Striving for knowledge, I rode in clinics with Peter Campbell, Jaton Lord, Joe Wolter, Martin Black, and many others who all greatly impacted my approach to horsemanship.

I have been fortunate to have started barrel horses, worked at Hunter/Jumper barns, and ridden with dressage-based trainers.

I have taken my horsemanship with me to my work in the ranching industry. Traveling from Montana to Arizona, working horseback everyday, I have worked with a wide variety of horses through full stages of training.

I use natural horsemanship principles to create a willing and soft horse who you would enjoy going to work on. I practice continued education and open-mindedness in my horsemanship every day.

My horses are good citizens, and good friends.
